Still air is a costume

Open-face exits look heroic in still air. Tessa turns a fan across the wet lane so a trailing grind has to bite with speed, not with a photograph.

Union Station bunkers do not give you still air. Neither does a river afternoon. The fan is rude on purpose.

If the trailing tag cannot survive the fan, it does not survive the census.
